The floor‑mounted robotic intelligent welding workstation integrates an advanced welding system with a large‑field‑of‑view 3D camera, incorporating cutting‑edge capabilities such as point‑cloud reconstruction and rapid initial positioning. The system supports two machining modes: first, model‑driven machining, which allows direct import of 3D models in STEP, STP, or IFC formats from software like Tekla, SOLIDWORKS, and UG; second, drawing‑free machining, which generates point‑cloud data by scanning the workpiece and automatically performs reverse engineering to create a digital model. The equipment can autonomously detect weld seam locations, intelligently select optimal welding process parameters, and generate the most efficient welding paths, enabling high‑precision, high‑efficiency operations while significantly enhancing manufacturing capabilities.
The entire machine is equipped with an automatic gun‑cleaning system, and the track length can be flexibly customized to suit the specific workpiece requirements. It also features an automated lubrication system, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. This equipment is ideal for joining horizontal and vertical plate components, supporting straight‑line, arc‑shaped, and complex‑curve welding, and capable of performing both flat‑position and vertical‑position welding processes. For typical steel‑structure applications—such as H‑beams (with constant or variable cross‑sections, including leg extensions), plate units, and diaphragms—it offers well‑proven solutions. At the same time, it efficiently handles intricate structures like T‑joints, U‑ribs, and pipe assemblies, making it widely used in steel construction, bridge building, shipbuilding, and related industries.
